week 8 post 3: personalized learning through Intergration of technology in classrooms

    I learned through this source that the more personalized the learning system and education is for a student the more it strengthens each child's individual progress. And by using technology personalization can be spread to a wide range of students. This technology would walk them through math, history and other subjects' step by step. This application would be personalized to the learner's way of learning which will improve their progress.  

    I also learned that many schools do not know how many students are learning the material thought in class. The way the education system is set up now does not set many students up for success because their primary focus is on passing district exams. There must be more effort put into individual students' learning, which can be achieved through technological integration in the classrooms. A question I have is why is there not more research done to find out how to improve individual students learning? and why are schools only focused on school wide test instead of subject materials.
