week 8 post 2: integration of technology into classrooms

    Technology offers new possibilities for learning and teaching. Technology already plays a key role in providing teachers and students with support. It can help teachers manage classrooms easier and offers many challenges to students. Teachers and students can access content ranging from teaching materials, explanatory videos, interactive content, stories, practice worksheets, and formative assessments. By checking which content is used most often and beneficially, educators can make informed decisions around classroom integration with technology in the future.  

    Schools and teachers must also prepare students to be able to interpret information, form opinions, be creative, communicate well, collaborate, and be resilient not just math and reading skills. All students need to be learning and attaining skills they need to be more productive and fulfilled. By helping teachers integrate technology more into the classrooms will create a more effective in facilitating learning, improving technology for learning, strengthen school systems, while also ensuring learners of all ages are equipped for success.
